This 1964 Porsche 356C is a non-running project that was acquired by the seller approximately 26 years ago and has since been kept in storage. Finished in red over black leatherette, the car features a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a Motorola AM/FM radio, body-colored bumpers with chrome overriders, and steel wheels with chrome hubcaps.
The car was factory finished in Ruby Red (6402) and features body-colored bumpers with chrome overriders and dual rear decklid grilles. Areas of corrosion are visible in the lower body panels and around the wheel openings, along with rust-through in the sill panels.
The 15” steel wheels feature chrome hubcaps and are mounted with All Season Radial LL800 tires that are said to have been recently replaced. Areas of paint loss and oxidation can be seen on the wheels.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black leatherette with matching door panels. A Motorola AM/FM radio and an analog clock are mounted in the dash. The carpets have been removed, and corrosion and rust-through are evident in the floors.
A black three-spoke steering wheel features a Porsche crest center cap and sits ahead of a body-colored metal dashboard housing a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 120-mph speedometer, and a five-digit odometer that shows just over 49k miles.
The replacement 1.6-liter flat-four was originally fitted in a 1964 356C and is paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. A replacement battery has been recently fitted per the seller.
