This 1966 Ford F-250 Custom Cab Camper Special was acquired by the seller in 2015 and subsequently refurbished. Work included a repaint in two-tone Wimbledon White and Seafoam Green and the installation of a replacement 390ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a white vinyl bench seat, power steering and brakes, a rear step bumper, a dual-exhaust system, and a Bluetooth-equipped stereo.
The body was reportedly disassembled and media-blasted prior to a repaint in two-tone Wimbledon White and Seafoam Green during current ownership. Exterior features include a lockable storage compartment, chrome side mirrors, a painted front grille, a Barden diamond-plate rear step bumper, a spray-in bed liner, and Camper Special badging. Paint flaws are present on the left bed rail, on top of the tailgate, and inside the bed.
White-finished 16″ steel wheels wear 245/75 Bridgestone Duravis R500 tires showing 2017 date codes. The truck is equipped with power steering and power-assisted brakes. The left-rear hubcap is uninstalled in the photos but is included in the sale.
The body-color cab features a white vinyl bench seat with patterned inserts along with black vinyl floor covers. Equipment includes a dome light, crank windows, a Bluetooth-equipped hands-free stereo, and an aftermarket subwoofer and cab speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts an engine-turned instrument bezel housing a 100-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and a five-digit odometer showing 34k miles.
The 390ci V8 was installed during the refurbishment and is reportedly equipped with a high-lift camshaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Mallory electronic ignition, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Hooker exhaust headers. The wiring harness, alternator, starter, battery, fan clutch, and brake booster were reportedly also replaced at that time. The seller notes an oil change was recently performed and that a previous valve cover leak causes residual oil burning.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
