The car is said to have originally resided in Alaska and was relocated to Minnesota before the seller obtained it from the reported second owner in late 2019. Work performed under current ownership included servicing the suspension and brakes as well as replacing the carburetor, the battery, and the tires.
The car is said to have been refinished in red approximately 12 years ago. Features include chrome bumpers, Mustang 2+2 and 289 fender emblems, and dual exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. The seller added fog lights to the grille.
Chrome 14″ styled steel wheels wear beauty rings and feature red Mustang centers. Size 215/60 front and 245/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires with raised white letters show 2018 and 2019 date codes. The car has front disc and rear drum brakes, the former of which the seller has had serviced. A matching spare tire is located in the trunk.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench covered in black vinyl with textured inserts. A vintage-look modern stereo was installed in place of the inoperative factory radio, which is included in the sale.
The wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel was installed under current ownership, and the removed cracked wheel will accompany the vehicle. Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles.
The A-code 289ci V8 is equipped with a Summit-sourced replacement four-barrel carburetor; the removed Autolite four-barrel is included in the sale. The seller had the fluids, gaskets, and seals replaced and also installed a chrome-finished Monte Carlo bar.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Toploader four-speed manual transmission.
