The car was delivered new in Vintage Burgundy and the seller states that the exterior was refinished approximately 10 years ago. Features include a white vinyl roof, chrome-finished bumpers, and dual exhausts that terminate below the rear valance. The paintwork and exterior trim are shown up close in the photo gallery below.
Styled-steel 14″ wheels wear polished beauty rings and Mustang-logo center caps as well as 215/70 BFGoodrich Control Plus tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes and power steering.
The cabin features bucket seats and a rear bench with red vinyl upholstery, while rubber mats protect the matching carpeting in the front and rear footwells. A Mustang-branded cassette player is mounted in the factory location, above which a Ford emblem is affixed to the dashboard.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, a combination gauge, and additional auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 16k miles, 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown.
The 289ci V8 was rated for 200 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque when new and is equipped with a Holley carburetor along with an aftermarket air cleaner and valve covers.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
