The car was delivered new in White (050G), and the color was changed to light blue at some point. Under the seller’s ownership the exterior was stripped and refinished in the current burgundy color, and which point the brightwork was refreshed. Features include chrome-finished bumpers and trim, pillarless windows, and a twin-tipped exhaust system that terminates on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Steel 14″ wheels wear color-keyed covers and are mounted with 195/75 Firestone FR380 whitewall tires. The brakes are said to have been replaced approximately 12 years ago.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench that are said to have been reupholstered with tan leather imported from Germany. Striped wood trim aLents the dashboard, and amenities include air conditioning, an analog VDO clock, and a Sony CD stereo, which is mounted in the factory location.
A two-spoke steering wheel with an aftermarket wrap sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a 7k-rpm tachometer, a 220-km/h speedometer, and vertical auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 30k kilometers (~19k miles).
The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six features Bosch fuel injection and was rated at 148 horsepower when new. A stainless-steel exhaust system has been installed, and the seller also states that the idle has been set high and that the engine turns over three to five times before starting.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
