This 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible was produced at GM’s Lordstown, Ohio facility, and it was recently acquired by the seller from the family of its reported original owner out of Alabama. The car has been refinished in green over retrimmed black vinyl upholstery, and power is provided by a 326ci V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Additional features include a replacement black convertible top, a Delco AM radio, a center console, woodgrain trim, and front bucket seats.
Delivered from the factory in Verdoro Green (Q), the body was repainted during a refurbishment between 1996 and 1997 that also included rechroming the bumpers and replacement of the trunk, weather seals, and windshield. Equipment includes a replacement black convertible top, a single side mirror, and Firebird and 326 badging. A black convertible boot cover is included in the sale.
Steel 14″ wheels wear Pontiac-branded hubcaps and Uniroyal tires. The car is equipped with four-wheel drum brakes.
A black monochromatic treatment is carried throughout the interior, including the bucket seats and rear bench that are covered in replacement upholstery. The car is equipped with a center console as well as a woodgrain-trimmed center stack containing Declo AM radio.
Just under 92k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer.
The 326ci V8 is equipped with a single two-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 250 horsepower at 4,600 rpm and 333 lb-ft of torque at 2,800 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a floor-shifted three-speed manual transmission.
Maintenance records dating to the 1970s, manufacturer’s literature, and spare parts including the aforementioned uninstalled three-speed manual transmission are included in the sale.
