This 1968 Chevrolet K10 pickup is a long-bed model that is finished in Light Blue over a blue vinyl interior and is powered by a 307ci V8 paired with an optional four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck was sold new from Johannsen Motors of Emmett, Idaho, and it reportedly resided with the same family in Oregon from new until it was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2021. Now showing just under 23k miles, features include 15″ steel wheels with chrome hub caps, a push-button AM radio, manually-locking front hubs, and a rear step bumper with a receiver hitch.
The body is finished in Light Blue with a white grille, front bumper, and “Chevrolet” lettering on the tailgate. Additional equipment includes replacement western-style side mirrors, chrome grille moldings, and a silver-painted diamond-plate rear step bumper with a receiver hitch. The selling dealer notes that the side mirror mounting holes have been filled in and paint touch-ups are present in the pickup bed. The removed mirrors are included in the sale.
White 15″ steel wheels wear 30×9.5″ Dean Tires Back Country All-Terrain tires. The truck is equipped with manually-locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by self-adjusting drum brakes at all four corners. The selling dealer states that the factory steel wheels were removed after acquiring the truck and are included in the sale.
The cabin features steel surfaces painted in Light Blue along with a bench seat upholstered in blue vinyl with a matching dash pad, lap belts, and door panels. Equipment includes a rubber floor liner, chrome sill plates, a defroster and heater, two-speed wipers, and a push-button radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer, auxiliary gauges, and pull switches for the lights, wipers, and choke. A trailer brake controller has been mounted under the dash, and the five-digit odometer shows 23k miles.
The 307ci V8 features an Edelbrock carburetor and was factory rated at 200 horsepower. The removed oil-bath air cleaner and carburetor are included in the sale.
