This 1968 International Harvester Scout 800 is finished in green with a removable white hardtop and is powered by a 152ci inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. Previously finished in blue, the body was repainted green with black-finished bumpers during previous ownership. The removable hardtop was also repainted white, and features include a snow plow mount, a rear ball hitch, and chrome side-view mirrors.
The 15” multi-piece aftermarket wheels feature locking front hubs and are mounted with Wild Country Radial XRT tires sized 235/75 at all four corners. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drums, and a full-size spare is mounted to the fold-down rear tire carrier.
The cabin features two bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in tan vinyl. Black mats line the floors, and additional amenities include a glovebox and opening front 3/4 vent windows.
A cracked and faded two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a black-finished metal dashboard housing a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The odometer and fuel gauge are inoperable, and other instrumentation is said to work intermittently. Approximately 33k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer.
The 152ci Comanche inline-four features a single carburetor and was factory rated at 93 horsepower, which is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The seller notes a recent oil change.
