The car was factory finished in Bridgehampton Blue Poly (979) and is said to have undergone a repaint some time in the 1980s. Exterior features include a body-colored removable roof panel along with a cowled hood with 454 badging.
The 15” body-colored Rally wheels feature chrome trim rings and hubcaps and are mounted with white-letter 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that are said to have been recently replaced. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs. Work during current ownership has included replacement of the front wheel seals and dust caps, as well as the brake calipers, pads, hoses and rotors.
The cabin is upholstered in Bright Blue vinyl and features an analog clock, a padded center armrest, and power windows. The seller notes that the radio turns on but does not produce sound. The removed air conditioning system is included in the sale.
A three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges in the center stack that include displays for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery charge. The five-digit odometer shows just under 29k miles.
The 454ci V8 is a replacement unit that was reportedly installed in the early 1980s. An oil leak is noted by the seller, and maintenance in 2019 is said to have included replacement of the following components:
