This 1970 Ford Ranchero was acquired by the seller in 1989 and subsequently refurbished. The seller reports that the 351ci Cleveland V8 was refurbished approximately 45k miles ago, at which time it was bored .020 over, balanced, and blueprinted. The engine is reportedly equipped with cross-bolted main bearing caps, a windage tray, a Keith Black camshaft, and open-chamber cylinder heads with high-flow port plates. Other modifications include a Blue Thunder hi-rise intake manifold topped, a Holley 750cfm carburetor with vacuum secondaries and an automatic choke, Doug Thorley headers, and an MSD electronic distributor and ignition module.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed C-4 automatic transmission. The seller states that the truck is equipped with a shift kit, a balanced driveshaft, and 3.25 gears in the 9″ rear end. Gabriel Load Carrier shocks are installed out back.
