This 1971 Chevrolet C10 is a regular cab short-bed pickup finished in Dark Olive over matching cloth and vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The truck is said to have remained registered in North Carolina and Virginia since new and was acquired by the seller in May 1986 from the reported original owner’s family. Features consist of Corvette-style rally wheels, wood body trim, a chrome grille and bumpers, and an AM push-button radio. Maintenance within the last year has included rebuilding the carburetor, a tune-up, a fluid service, and replacement of the water pump, fuel pump, heater control valve, temperature sensor, and air conditioning compressor. This C10 is offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, spare parts, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The truck was repainted in Dark Olive (506) in 2001. Features include wood trim, a chrome grille and bumpers, and a blue Chevrolet badge. The seller reports that the truck was involved in an accident in 2000, after which the front bumper, hood, and grille were replaced, and the DG4 mirrors were replaced with smaller GM examples.
Corvette style 15″ rally wheels are fitted with 275/60 Dunlop G/T Qualifier tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums, and the seller notes that the master cylinder, power brake actuator, and rear brakes were recently replaced.
The cab features embossed Olive vinyl seats with cloth inserts. Amenities include an AM push-button radio, R134a air conditioning, and manual windows and door locks. The interior has reportedly been refurbished with a replacement seat cover, weather seals, carpet, glovebox liner, air vents, door and window handles, and door sills and step plates.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as temperature, amperage, and oil pressure gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles.
The 350ci V8 engine was reportedly rebuilt in 1991. Recent maintenance in 2021 has reportedly included replacement of the water pump, fuel pump, and a rebuild of the carburetor as well as a tune-up and fluid service.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission.
