This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Steel Cities Gray over black vinyl and reportedly spent time in the UK and Switzerland prior to its acquisition in 2019 by the seller, who subsequently imported the car back to the US. The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Faux woodgrain trim is found on the console and door panels, and amenities include power windows, air conditioning, and a Delco push-button AM/FM radio mounted in the center stack.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames a 7k-rpm tachometer and an Imperial speedometer that has reportedly been fitted with a 320-km/h face plate. Auxiliary instrumentation in the center stack includes an analog clock along with displays for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery charge. The six-digit odometer shows just under 21k miles.
The 350ci LT-1 V8 produced 255 horsepower for the 1972 model year and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Maintenance in May 2021 is said to have included fluid changes along with a new battery.
