This 1972 240Z was purchased by the seller in 2018, reportedly following a decade of storage with its second owner. The car is finished in red over white vinyl and powered by a numbers-matching 2.4-liter L24 inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes dual SU carburetors, bumpers with override bars, rear window louvers, and a Hitachi AM/FM radio. Steel 14” wheels wear factory covers and are mounted with Cooper Trendsetter tires installed under current ownership. The brake system was overhauled by the seller with rebuilt calipers and a replacement master cylinder, pads, rotors, shoes, wheel cylinders, and lines. Additional work is said to have included replacement of the sway bar end links as well as the front shocks, ball joints, bearings, and tie rods. The rear shocks are said to need replacement.
The seats and door panels are trimmed in white vinyl upholstery while contrasting black carpets line the floors. Equipment includes a center console armrest, a locking glovebox, a wood shift knob, and a Hitachi AM/FM radio. The driver’s seat is torn, interior panels are discolored, the headliner is sagging, and interior plastics panels are said to be brittle. The air conditioning components have been removed, though the compressor and condenser brackets are included in the sale.
A faux-wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles.
The 2.4-liter inline-four was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque and was rebuilt during current ownership. The dual round-top SU carburetors were reportedly refurbished by Z Therapy, and additional work is said to have included replacement of the following components:

Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission, which is said to have received a replacement clutch, resurfaced flywheel, and refreshed clutch cylinders during current ownership.
