This 1973 Citroen DS23 Pallas is said to have been imported to the US from Spain approximately two years ago and is finished in silver with a white roof over a tan interior. Power is provided by a 2.3-liter inline-four paired with a column-shifted five-speed manual transaxle, and additional features include a hydropneumatic suspension system, an aftermarket CD stereo, power-assisted steering and brakes, swiveling headlights, and 15” steel wheels with polished covers. The car was acquired by the seller around a year ago, and subsequent work has reportedly included an oil change and replacement of the heater core.
The car is believed to have been repainted some time ago and is finished in silver with a white roof. Exterior features include swiveling Euro-spec headlights with glass covers, dual chrome side-view mirrors, and rear turn signals mounted on the C-pillars.
The 15” steel wheels feature polished covers and are mounted with Michelin XAS tires. The car rides on self-leveling hydropneumatic suspension, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted inboard-mounted front discs with rear drums. A full-size spare is found in the engine compartment.
The cabin features seats trimmed in tan vinyl along with matching door panels, lighter carpets, and a black dashboard. Amenities include power steering and an aftermarket CD stereo wired to speakers in both front door panels.
A single-spoke steering wheel frames a 200-km/h Jaeger speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and an array of warning lights. Aftermarket gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature have been mounted in the center of the dash, and the five-digit odometer shows just over 19k kilometers (~12k miles), around 200 of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2,347cc inline-four features a single carburetor and was factory rated at 115 horsepower, which is sent to the front wheels through a column-shifted five-speed manual transaxle. The seller notes a recent oil change.
