This 1973 Triumph TR6 is finished in red over a tan interior and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black convertible top with a zip-down rear window, a full-cockpit tonneau cover, and a front grille guard. The car was acquired by the seller in 2011, and a subsequent refurbishment at the seller’s shop was completed in 2015. In addition to a repaint, the seller states that the brakes and suspension were overhauled and that the fuel tank, sender, and lines were replaced. The engine and transmission were reportedly rebuilt with modifications said to include an electric fuel pump, a lightened flywheel, and an aftermarket camshaft.
The car was repainted in its original Carmine Red (82) during current ownership. Exterior features include a black vinyl convertible top, a matte black front air dam, a chrome left side mirror, and TR6 graphics on the rear fenders.
Factory 15″ steel wheels feature polished aluminum trim rings and TR6-branded center caps and wear 205/75 Mastercraft A/S IV tires. The four-wheel independent suspension features double-wishbones up front and semi-trailing arms out back. Braking is from front discs and rear drums. Both the braking and suspension systems were reportedly overhauled during the refurbishment.
The interior features replacement tan vinyl seat covers and matching replacement carpets. Amenities include a walnut dashboard, a heater, and three-point seatbelts. The center console has the factory cutouts for a two-knob radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a Smiths 140-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles.
The 2.5-liter OHV inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was reportedly rebuilt and modified with a lightened flywheel, performance camshaft, and an electric fuel pump.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The transmission was reportedly rebuilt during the refurbishment.
