This 1974 Triumph TR6 is finished in red over tan vinyl and powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The body is finished in red with yellow pinstripes. The steering rack mounts, tie rod ends, and shock boots have reportedly been replaced.
The seats have been recovered in tan vinyl, and the seller states that the dash pad, carpeting, and door panels have also been replaced. Additional appointments include a wood shift knob and dash paneling, a push-button radio, a lockable glove box, and Triumph-branded floor mats. A fire extinguisher is mounted in the passenger footwell.
A replacement Moto Lita-style steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles, approximately 7k of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter inline-six features twin SU carburetors and PerTronix electronic ignition. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch slave and master cylinders were reportedly replaced in 2018, and the spark plugs, ignition wires, and coolant hoses are also said to have been changed under current ownership.
The car is equipped with a replacement stainless-steel exhaust system.
Service records are included in the sale along with shop manuals, a removed radio, spare shift knobs, a set of trim rings for the wheels, and a Talbot-style mirror.
