The factory 2.7-liter engine was replaced under prior ownership with a 3.0-liter flat-six. The engine was overhauled in February 2020 by Mirage International in San Diego, California, and included the replacement of the piston rings, head gasket, cylinder head studs, intake and exhaust valves, and timing chain set. Service in February 2021 included adjusting the valves, retorquing the cylinder head bolts, and performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The clutch was replaced in February 2020.
