This 1976 Ford Bronco was acquired by the seller in 2019 and subsequently underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment that included repairing and refinishing the body and modifying the suspension and brakes. The truck is finished in dark red over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a body-color removable hardtop, a roll bar, four-wheel disc brakes, a suspension lift kit, 17” wheels with 35” tires, aftermarket bumpers, a Warn winch, bedliner-coated floors, a 23-gallon fuel tank, a locking center console, and a JL audio sound system with a subwoofer mounted in a jerrycan.
Work during the 2019 body-off refurbishment reportedly included stripping the old finish, replacing corroded panels with new sheet metal, application of bedliner on the inside of the tub, replacing the inner and outer front fenders, installing a body-color roll cage with sunshades, installing new weatherstripping and glass, and applying an epoxy primer before applying the dark red base coat and clear coat. Additional exterior features consist of black fender flares, an aftermarket front bumper with a Warn winch, a rear swing-away tire carrier, and aftermarket lighting.
Aluminum 17″ wheels are fitted with 35×12.5″ BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM3 tires, and suspension modifications include a James Duff 3.5” lift kit with soft-ride dual shocks at all four corners and a Heim joint system. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc brakes featuring slotted and cross-drilled rotors and stainless-steel lines, and the seller reports the master cylinder and proportioning valve were replaced during the refurbishment. A close-ratio power steering box is also said to have been fitted.
The cabin features Procar seats upholstered in tan leather with a matching dash pad, door panels, and visors. Amenities include spray-on bedliner-coated floors, a body-color Krawler’s Edge roll cage with sunshades, a locking center console equipped with phone chargers, and a JL Audio stereo with a jerrycan-mounted subwoofer in the cargo area.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and inset auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 24k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 was refurbished under prior ownership and features an Edelbrock carburetor as well as an aluminum intake manifold and radiator. Recent service is said to have included engine and transmission fluid changes.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. A 23-gallon fuel tank is said to have been installed along with a new auxiliary fuel tank and sending unit as well as a Richmond helical Positraction differential with 4.56:1 gears.
