This 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser is said to have been stored by its original owner for 30 years before being refurbished by its second owner between 2017-2018 and acquired by its current owner in 2018. The previous work included a repaint in green and white as well as reupholstery of the interior, and power is from a 4.2-liter straight-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Built between 1967 and 1980, the FJ55 was the first Land Cruiser designed as a four-door wagon. This example was refinished in its current green and white combination under previous ownership. The seller notes that rust-through in the left front fender was treated with inhibitor and undercoating, but not cut out. The door gaskets and weatherstripping are said to have been replaced. Exterior details consist of inset headlights, dual mirrors, a silver-painted grille and bumpers, and a receiver hitch.
Gray 15″ General Motors Rally wheels are mounted with 31×10.5″ General Grabber all-terrain tires. The spare wheel is missing from its stock location under the cargo area. Replacement front brake rotors and rear drums are said to have been fitted.
The cabin was retrimmed with black vinyl and cloth upholstery as well as vinyl floor coverings, and sound deadening material was applied to the floors and all four doors aLording to the seller. Modifications include LED lighting as well as a RetroSound stereo with USB, Bluetooth, and auxiliary inputs feeding aftermarket speakers through a Pioneer four-channel amplifier mounted to the firewall.
A three-spoke steering frames a 100-mph speedometer as well as a combination gauge for oil pressure, fuel level, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles.
