This 1977 International Harvester Scout II is finished in red with black accents over tan leather upholstery and is powered by a 345ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck was refurbished under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2021. Subsequent service is said to have consisted of refurbishing the fuel tank and replacing the starter, fuel pump, engine and transmission gaskets, thermostat, brake booster, master cylinder, and fuel sending unit.
The body is said to have been repainted in red during previous ownership and features a black-painted grille, tailgate insert, bumpers, and mirrors. Features include a white and red removable hardtop, LED headlamps, a hinged rear window, a fold-down tailgate, dark side trim, and Scott II badging.
Black 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 33×12.5″ Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3W tires. Features include a 2.5″ lift kit, Skyjacker BlackMax shocks, manually locking front hubs, and power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The brake booster, rear discs, and master cylinder are said to have been replaced under current ownership.
The cab features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in tan leather with diamond-pattern stitching as well as a matching dashboard cover and door panels. Equipment includes lap belts for all occupants, black carpeting, floor-mounted shifters for the transmission and differential, Infinity 6×9″ speakers, and a Pioneer Bluetooth/USB stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a horizontal 100-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 94k miles.
The 345ci V8 breathes through a single carburetor and was factory rated at 182 horsepower. Service in 2021 is said to have consisted of replacing the starter, fuel pump, engine gasket, thermostat, fuel sending unit, and coolant hose as well as refurbishing the fuel tank.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Torqueflite 727 three-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case. The seller notes that the transmission gasket was replaced and fluid was changed in 2021.
