This 1978 Lincoln Mark V was first sold by Bob Maxey Lincoln-Mercury in Detroit, Michigan, and was recently acquired by the seller following time spent in Missouri and Washington State. A two-spoke multifunction steering wheel fronts an 80-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and a “miles-to-empty” fuel indicator. The five-digit odometer shows just under 19k miles.
The A-code 460ci V8 came equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 357 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a C6 three-speed automatic transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle equipped with 2.50:1 gearing. A general inspection was conducted in preparation for the sale.
