This 1978 Porsche 911SC Targa is finished in black over matching upholstery and powered by a numbers-matching 3.0L flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Staggered-width 16” Fuchs wheels wear 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Dunlop Direzza Sport tires with 2009 date codes. The car is equipped with an aftermarket front sway bar, the bushings for which require replacement according to the seller.

The air-cooled 3.0L flat-six was factory-rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque when new. The head studs were re-torqued and the valves were adjusted when the valve covers were replaced in 2015, and work since November 2020 has included installation of an MSD digital ignition control unit, replacement of the ignition wires, distributor cap, and rotor, and an R134a-refrigerant conversion for the air conditioning system.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed 915 manual transaxle.
