The Li’l Red Express was based on the Dodge D150 pickup with the Utiline stepside bed, and 5,118 examples were produced for the 1979 model year. The model features stacked quad headlights, a flatter hood, and a revised grille, and is finished in Medium Canyon Red (PY3450) with an oak-trimmed bed, chrome bumpers, vertical exhaust stacks, and gold pinstripes and graphics. Additional equipment includes a hitch receiver, a wood front bumper, and silver running boards.
