This 1979 Ford Bronco is finished in two-tone white and green over a green interior and was originally delivered to Higgins & Ziemer Ford of Boonville, Indiana. Power is provided by a 351ci v8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional equipment includes a removable fiberglass roof, 15″ painted wheels, a swing-away rear spare tire carrier, a trailer hitch receiver, cruise control, a rear bench seat, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo. The seller purchased the truck in May 2020 and subsequent work consisted of rebuilding the carburetor, cleaning the radiator, and replacing the shocks, steering stabilizer, exhaust manifold gaskets, and fuel pump.
The truck is finished in two-tone Wimbledon White with Dark Jade Metallic and is said have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include a removable fiberglass hardtop, chrome bumpers, a swing-away rear tire carrier, a trailer hitch receiver, side steps, a driver-side search light, and a power-operated rear window.
The 15″ steel wheels have been painted white and were mounted with 31×10.5″ BFGoodrich K02 tires in December 2020. The front brake calipers, lines, pads, and rear shoes were replaced in September 2020 while the front hubs, bearings, and lockers were replaced in May 2021. Pro Comp ES9000 shocks with Forest Green boots, along with a Pro Comp steering stabilizer, were fitted in February 2021.
The front bucket seats are upholstered in Jade Green vinyl with cloth inserts and are complemented by matching carpets, door panels, and dashboard top. Wood-style trim adorns the door cards and dashboard face, and additional features include a rear bench seat, a floor-mounted transfer case selector, air conditioning, a trailer braking system, and an AM/FM stereo.
The two-spoke steering wheel features wood-style trim and cruise control buttons. Instrumentation includes a 90-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and battery charge. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles.
The 351ci V8 was serviced under current ownership with a carburetor rebuild and radiator cleaning, as well as replacement of the coolant hoses, spark plugs, exhaust manifold gaskets, fuel pump, and ignition module. The air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant in August 2020. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The transfer case and both differentials were serviced in August 2020. The dual side-exit exhaust system is said to have been fitted with replacement mufflers and tailpipes in February 2020.
