Features include the WS6 Performance and Handling Package, power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, air conditioning, tinted glass, front and rear spoilers, a tilt steering column, a shaker hood, Trans Am decals, 15″ Cragar wheels, and a Delco AM/FM stereo with optional CB Radio. The car was delivered new to Mike Higgins Pontiac of Cincinnati, Ohio, and was acquired by the seller in June 2021.
The car is finished in Starlight Black and features a “screaming chicken” hood decal, Trans Am decals, a shaker hood, front and rear spoilers, optional door handle ornamentation, and quad angled exhaust tips.
The chrome 15″ Cragar wheels wear 225/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised white-letter tires, and a space-saver spare tire with jack is located in the carpeted trunk compartment. The vehicle is equipped with power steering and the WS6 Performance Package, which included power four-wheel disc brakes, a quick-ratio steering box, and a larger sway bar. Service in 2016 included replacement of the brake pads and calipers.
The cabin features black hobnail cloth bucket seats joined by a matching dash, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, a Delco AM/FM stereo with optional CB radio, and the pedal trim package.
The three-spoke formula steering wheel sits ahead of an engine-turned instrument panel with a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles.
The 400ci W72 V8 features a Rochester Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 220 horsepower. The clutch was reportedly replaced in August 2015.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A Flowmaster dual exhaust system was installed under previous ownership.
The window sticker shows delivery to Mike Higgins Pontiac of Cincinnati, Ohio, and lists factory equipment as well as a total price of $9,016. Owner’s manuals, PHS documents, and a copy of the build sheet are also included.
