This 1980 Jeep CJ-7 is finished in bronze over black and is powered by a 304ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case with twin-stick shifters. Features include a dual exhaust system with side exits, a removable soft top and doors, an aftermarket stereo system, a locking center console, and LED headlights. The truck was reportedly the subject of a refurbishment under prior ownership that included a repaint, and it was acquired by the seller in March 2021. This CJ-7 is offered with two keys and a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in bronze and features gold side striping and Laredo graphics on the hood. A black Bestop soft top with removable soft doors will accompany the truck, and LED headlights have been installed. Originally Saxon Yellow, the truck was repainted and the Laredo decals were added during the refurbishment commissioned by a previous owner.
Black 15″ wheels are wrapped in 32×11.5” Goodyear Wrangler MT/R tires that show date codes from 2016, and a matching spare is mounted to the swing-away rear tire carrier. Rancho shocks are fitted at all four corners.
The interior is outfitted with replacement front bucket and rear bench seats upholstered in black vinyl with tan accents along with a replacement locking center console with a padded armrest. An aftermarket AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary input is installed along with 6×9 Kicker speakers in the rear and a Kicker amplifier mounted in the rear cargo area.
Instrumentation consists of a replacement 90-mph GPS speedometer with a digital odometer, a tachometer, and gauges for temperature and fuel level. Additional gauges on the dashboard display voltage and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 7k miles.
Power comes from a 304ci V8 featuring an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. An aluminum radiator was installed under prior ownership, and the starter and battery were reportedly replaced before the seller acquired the truck. Hedman headers were installed under current ownership and feed into a dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers that exits ahead of each rear wheel. Service performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included replacing the oil pan gasket, the rear differential gasket, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and air filter.
Power is sent to the rear, the front, or all four wheels by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case with twin-stick shifters.
