This 1982 BMW 320i was modified during previous ownership with a carbureted Buick 215ci V8 and a Tremec T-5 five-speed manual transmission. Previously finished in red, the car was repainted its current shade of light blue during prior ownership and was fitted with Euro-spec bumpers and headlights. Additional details include a rear spoiler with BMW M stripe graphics, a front spoiler, sunroof, pop-out rear windows, a single windshield wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. The car was declared a Total Loss Vehicle following an accident in 2015.
Aftermarket 15” five-lug mesh wheels with polished trim rings are mounted with Kumho Solus KH16 tires. The car is fitted with adjustable coilovers and a custom rear suspension setup.
The interior houses bolstered front sport seats and a rear bench that are trimmed in black vinyl along with matching door panels and grey carpeting. A Kenwood stereo has been added, and additional appointments include an aftermarket cue-ball shift knob.
An aftermarket leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of an 85-mph speedometer and an inoperable tachometer, along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. A CNSpeed tachometer with inset gauges has been added to the center console and an oil pressure warning light is mounted on the dash. The six-digit odometer shows 167k miles.
The 215ci Buick V8 is fitted with an Offenhauser aluminum intake and an Edelbrock 650-cfm carburetor. A fluid service is said to have been performed within the past 200 miles.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 4.11:1 gearing.
