The car was acquired by the seller in July 2021 following six years with a collector in West Virginia, and subsequent service consisted of changing the oil.
The Collector Edition was the first Corvette offered with a hinged glass rear hatch rather than a fixed rear window. This example features fiberglass bodywork finished in Silver Beige Metallic (59L) with graduated stripes on the fenders, doors, and hood, as well as bronze-tinted glass T-Top panels. Additional features include power-adjustable sport mirrors and a power-retractable antenna.
Turbine-style 15″ aluminum wheels were included as part of the Collector Edition package and wear 255/60 Goodyear Eagle GT tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The cockpit features seats and door panels trimmed in Silver Beige leather with gradient multi-colored motif inserts. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, air conditioning, a Delco cassette stereo, and power doors, locks, and windows.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel with Corvette Collector Edition badging fronts instrumentation consisting of an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,300-rpm redline. Secondary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 16k miles.
The 350ci L83 V8 features Cross-Fire Injection and was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed by the seller.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
