This 1982 Fiat 124 Spider 2000 was reportedly first registered in California, and it is said to have been stored from the mid-1980’s until 2009, when the seller acquired it and relocated it to Illinois. The car is finished in olive green over tan upholstery and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a replacement tan soft top, 14″ Cromodora wheels, a luggage rack, a three-spoke Ferrero steering wheel, and an Alpine CD stereo.
The body is finished in olive green metallic and features a replacement tan convertible soft top, a front spoiler, a luggage rack, and bright trim around the windows, rocker panels, and wheel openings. Paint blemishes are visible on the hood along with bubbling at the base of the windshield and around the washer fluid squirter. Exterior light bulbs and the brake light switch were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Silver-finished 14″ Cromodora CD-134 wheels are wrapped in 185/65 Pirelli P6 Four Seasons tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The steering box and idler arm assembly were replaced in July 2021.
The interior features bucket seats upholstered in tan vinyl joined by a matching center console, door panels, and carpets. Interior equipment includes woodgrain dashboard trim, a lockable glovebox, a heater, Fiat-branded floor mats, and an aftermarket Alpine CD stereo.
The three-spoke Ferrero steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and an analog clock along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 31k miles
The 2.0-liter inline-four features fuel injection along with dual overhead camshafts and was rated at 101 horsepower and 110 lb-ft of torque when new. Recent service included the replacement of the radiator and a fuel hose in June 2021, as well as the center and rear mufflers in July 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
Included with the car are a tan top boot, an all-weather car cover, two die-cast models, wiring schematics, manufacturer’s literature, and service records from current ownership.
