The 302ci Ford V8 was installed under current ownership and features multi-port fuel injection and an aluminum radiator with an electric puller fan. An air conditioning compressor is installed, though the system is not hooked up. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is equipped with a Dana 30 front axle along with an AMC 20 one-piece rear axle. Both axles are equipped with lockers along with 4.88:1 gearing.
