This 1982 Porsche 911SC Targa is finished in black over beige leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car spent time in New Jersey and New York prior to the seller’s acquisition and relocation to California in July 2018, and subsequent service included replacing the fuel accumulator, window regulator and motor, fan switch, suspension components, and fuel lines.
The bodywork was reportedly painted black during prior ownership, and features a black Targa bar, a removable roof panel, matte black trim, silver Porsche lower body decals, and body-color headlight rings. Fading is visible on the trim, the finish beneath the rear window has cracks, the door locks function intermittently, and paint drips are pointed out by the seller on the left-rear fender near the tail light.
Black-finished 16″ Fuchs wheels with anodized lips are mounted with 205/55 Veento G-3 front tires and 225/50 Joyroad Sport RX6 rear tires. Standard equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes, and records indicate the front struts and rear shocks were replaced in March 2020.
Beige leather covers the seating surfaces and is contrasted by a black dashboard and carpets protected by matching Porsche-branded floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, and a Sony stereo with satellite radio, USB, and Bluetooth connectivity. The driver’s seat bottom was repaired during prior ownership, and records show the fan switch and driver’s window motor and regulator were replaced in March 2020.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of VDO instrumentation that includes a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and combination gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just under 106k miles.
The air-cooled 3.0L flat-six is equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 180 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque when new. March 2020 service also included an oil change and replacement of the engine air filter, fuel accumulator, and three fuel lines. The seller states that the fuel tank was replaced during prior ownership.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Corrosion is noted on the exhaust and suspension components.
