The seller acquired the car in Texas in 2013, reportedly from its second owner of 30 years. Service in 2015 included replacing the shock absorbers, water pump, front spoiler, alternator, smog pump and two clutch discs, along with the pressure plate and pilot bearing. Fluid changes were performed in January 2021.

The air conditioning system was charged in 2019, and the seller states that the temperature lever works intermittently.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a suite of instrumentation that includes a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 47k miles.
The 4.7-liter M28/19 V8 features an aluminum block and was factory rated at 234 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. Service in 2015 included replacing the timing, alternator, power steering and A/C belts, along with the water pump, alternator, smog pump, and clutch disc one and two, and the pressure plate and pilot bearing. The lower metal engine splash shield was adjusted in January 2021, at which time the spark plugs were changed and the rear washer pump was replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rear-mounted five-speed manual transaxle.
