This 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo is finished in Light Pewter and Black over black leather, and it is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes gold-accented 16″ alloy wheels, bronze-tinted removable glass roof panels, a leather interior, an 80-watt Bodysonic cassette sound system, power windows, power door locks, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The car was delivered new to Moon Datsun of Cerritos, California, and it was acquired by the seller in 2016 and later relocated to Maryland in 2021.
The body is finished in Light Pewter (210) with Thunder Black (505) lower cladding and features “turbo” lettering on the rocker panel extensions. Other exterior features include flared front and rear fenders, aftermarket headlight louvers, a hood scoop, a t-bar roof with bronze mirror-tinted glass, and a rear spoiler.
Gold-accented 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/50 Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires that show date codes from 2016. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs.
The cabin features black leather upholstery and a matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets as well as faux wood trim. Additional equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, an 80-watt eight-speaker Bodysonic cassette stereo system, a pneumatic power-adjustable driver’s seat, and reproduction 50th Anniversary floor mats.
The multifunction steering wheel frames a digital gauge cluster with a speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary readouts. The dashboard houses an integrated compass and accelerometer, both of which function inconsistently according to the seller. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 112k miles.
The turbocharged 3.0-liter VG30ET V6 was rated at 200 horsepower and 227 lb-ft of torque when new. Reported service in 2019 included replacement of the timing belt and water pump and seals, and the rear main seal was replaced in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The car features adjustable shock absorbers, which the seller notes are nonfunctional. The seller states that a replacement clutch was installed in 2021.
