This 1986 Lamborghini Jalpa is one of 410 examples produced and is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. The Bertone-designed Jalpa was produced between 1981 and 1988, and this example was refinished in its current shade of red during current ownership. Features include a removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, fog lights, and quad exhaust outlets. Additional work performed during current ownership included replacement of the front spoilers.
Ruote O.Z. 16” wheels feature Lamborghini-logo center caps and are mounted with a mix of 205/55 Pirelli front and 245/45 Kumho rear tires.
The cabin features bucket seats that were reupholstered in black with red piping, and matching upholstery covers the door panels. Amenities include air conditioning, a gated shifter, power windows, a Jaeger digital clock, and an aftermarket Pioneer CD stereo. An ignition cutoff switched is affixed to the dashboard, according to the seller.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 280-km/h speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and gauges displaying oil pressure, coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. Under 63k kilometers (~39k miles) are shown on the five-digit odometer.
The 3.5-liter quad-cam V8 was factory rated at 250 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The seller reports replacement of the catalytic converter in April 2000, and replacement of the clutch components in May 2004.
