Euro-style front marker lights were fitted under previous ownership, and the seller has installed a rear spoiler from a 1989 MR2. The front spoiler, right mirror housing, and rear spoiler have been repainted under current ownership.
Factory 14″ alloy wheels are mounted with 185/60 Hankook Optimo tires. A rear anti-sway bar has been installed, and the brake brake master cylinder was reportedly replaced in 2018.
The cabin features black leather bolstered seats with a matching dash, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, and MR2-branded floormats. An aftermarket Kenwood CD stereo has been installed, and the removed AM/FM cassette unit is included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 91k miles.
The mid-mounted, supercharged, and intercooled 1.6-liter 4A-GZE inline-four was rated for 145 horsepower at and 140 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller notes an oil leak is present, and coolant seepage is visible at one of the radiator hoses.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
