This 1989 Land Rover 90 is finished in silver and black over black and was imported into the US in 2018 by the seller. Power is provided by a replacement 4.0-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck has been refurbished and modified with work consisting of a change from right hand drive to left hand drive, a repaint, rebuilding the steering and braking systems, installing a replacement engine, transmission, transfer case, and wiring harness, replacing the glass, radiator, starter, and alternator as well as fitting LED lights and a Vintage Air air conditioning system.
The truck was refinished in silver with a black top and features a KBX front grille, LED headlamps and foglights, running boards, a rear step, a Puma-style hood, and a swing-out rear door.
Black Sawtooth style 18″ alloy wheels are mounted with 265/65 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The seller reports that the steering box has been rebuilt, and the brake rotors, calipers and pads have been replaced. Additional work reportedly consisted of replacing the axle bearings, ball joints, steering stabilizer, and power steering hoses, pump, and reservoir. The suspension has been fitted with replacement bushings, springs, and Pro-Comp shock absorbers.
The cabin features replacement Lucari bucket seats upholstered in black grained leather with white stitching, replacement black carpets, and a black Puma dashboard. Amenities include an aftermarket center console, a Vintage Air air conditioning and heating system, a passenger grab bar, a Pioneer stereo, a rear camera, and JBL speakers.
The aftermarket suede Sparco steering wheel fronts replacement VDO instrumentation including a 130-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 132 miles.
The Land Rover 4.0-liter V8 was reportedly installed in 2020 and remapped. During that time the radiator, hoses, water pump, starter, alternator, battery, and wiring harness are said to have been replaced.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a replacement ZF four-speed automatic transmission and an LT230 dual-range transfer case.
