This 1990 Corvette ZR-1 is finished in Bright Red over Flame Red leather and powered by a 5.7-liter LT5 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes the Performance Handling Package, FX3 Selective Ride suspension, aftermarket 17″ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, an aftermarket exhaust system, removable roof panels, power-adjustable sport seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Delco Bose combined CD and cassette stereo.
The car features model-specific bodywork consisting of wider quarter panels, a convex rear fascia, and rectangular taillights. This example is finished in Bright Red with black trim, and additional exterior equipment includes pop-up headlights, fog lamps, a front lip spoiler, and dual removable roof panels.
Aftermarket 17″ Elite wheels are fitted with 275/40 and 315/35 Goodyear Eagle ZR40 tires. The car is equipped with the Performance Handling Package, FX3 Selective Ride suspension, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and a low tire pressure warning system.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Torch Red leather with matching door panels and carpets. Additional amenities include a trip computer, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a Delco Bose Gold Series CD and cassette stereo.
A leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames a digital speedometer and an analog tachometer along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, oil temperature, and voltage. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles.
The aluminum 5.7-liter LT5 V8 was co-designed by GM and Lotus, and assembled by Mercury Marine of Stillwater, Oklahoma. The engine features four valves per cylinder, and output was rated at 380 horsepower with 370 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil and filter change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
