This 1990 Honda CRX SiR is a right-hand drive example that was imported to the US from Japan in September 2020. The car is finished in black over black upholstery and is powered by a 1.6-liter VTEC B16A inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes an HKS intake and oil cap, a Charge Speed front lip with a scrape protector, fog lights, a fiberglass hood, 14″ RS Watanabe wheels, an adjustable sport suspension, a glass roof, a Recaro racing seat, Napoleon Lonza pedals, a Boss stereo with Alpine and Kenwood speakers, and interior LED lighting.
The car is finished in flint black and Japanese-specific features include a glass roof, a hatch lid spoiler, and turn indicators on the fender. Additional equipment consists of a Charge Speed front lip with an Acexxon scrape protector, yellow fog lights, and a fiberglass hood wrapped in carbon vinyl. The rear wiper has been deleted, and the seller reports that the front and rear bumper were repainted under current ownership to repair paint chips and peeling clearcoat.
The gold-finished 14″ RS Watanabe wheels are fitted with 195/60 Yokohama Advan Nova tires. Modifications to the suspension include a GAB adjustable super sport suspension, a Cusco front lower arm bar, and a Tanabe rear upper strut bar. The car is equipped with slotted rotors up front and slotted and cross-drilled Power Stop rotors out back. The removed rotors are included in the sale.
The right-hand-drive cabin features a black and gray cloth Recaro driver’s seat, and a passenger bucket seat upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts and vinyl trim, as well as a black vinyl rear seat with lap belts. Amenities include automatic climate control, a Boss stereo, Alpine and Kenwood speakers, power locks and windows, and an aftermarket shift knob, boot, and emergency brake handle. The seller reports that the passenger seat vinyl is damaged and has been patched, the driver’s seat bolster shows wear, and the top right of the driver side door panel has been repaired under previous ownership. The removed emergency brake cover is included in the sale.
The three-spoke Mugen steering wheel fronts a 190 km/h speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k redline, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 148k kilometers (~92k miles). The instrument panel lighting has been replaced with LEDs.
The 1.6-liter VTEC B16a inline-four features an RS-R 4-2-1 header, an HKS sport intake and oil cap, a Sick Speed radiator cover, and an aluminum spark plug cover. The removed oil cap and spark plug cover are included in the sale. An oil change was recently performed.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
