This 1991 Buick Reatta is one of 1,214 coupes produced for the model’s final year of production and was initially delivered to Loren Buick of Glenview, Illinois. It now shows 27k miles and is finished in Bright Red over Flame Red leather. Power is provided by a 3.8-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2021 and has since replaced the power antenna and the headlight gears.
Reattas were hand-assembled at the Reatta Craft Center in Lansing, Michigan, and this example was painted on site by PPG in Bright Red. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, fog lights, cornering lamps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets. The hood is believed to have been repainted during previous ownership, and paint chips, scratches, and other imperfections are noted. Paint-depth readings are provided in the gallery below. The seller notes that the power antenna was replaced and that brass headlight gears were installed in 2021.
The 16″ aluminum wheels feature Reatta center caps and are wrapped with 215/60 Goodyear Eagle GA tires at each corner. The car was factory equipped with four-wheel disc brakes and a fast-ratio power steering system.
The two-seat cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Flame Red leather with a matching dashboard, doors, carpets, and headliner. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, an AM/FM cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer, a separate CD player, floor mats, and power windows, locks, and mirrors.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts digital readouts for vehicle speed, engine speed, coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 27k miles.
The 3.8-liter V6 was factory rated at 170 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
