This 1991 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R was produced at Nissan’s Tochigi assembly facility in Japan and imported to the US in December 2020 by the seller. Silver-finished 15″ Enkei RS+M alloy wheels are mounted with 195/50 Yokohama S.drive tires. The car features an adjustable coilover suspension, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features manually adjustable cloth seats upholstered in faded gray cloth and joined by matching door panel inserts. The carpets are protected by Pulsar-branded patterned floor mats, and additional features include air conditioning, an umbrella holder, a carbon-look shift knob, an aluminum throttle pedal cover, a Kenwood head unit, and power windows, mirrors, and locks.
A leather-wrapped Tomei steering wheel frames a 180-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and engine temperature and fuel level gauges. Auxiliary gauges indicating oil temperature, oil pressure, and boost pressure are mounted in the center stack. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 127k kilometers (~79k miles).
The turbocharged 2.0-liter SR20DET inline-four was rated at 227 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was completed in January 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox and Nissan’s ATTESA all-wheel-drive system. The car features a Kakimoto Racing axle-back exhaust system.
