This 1992 Dodge Viper is one of approximately 285 examples produced for the model’s inaugural year. This example was sold from Clermont Dodge of Clermont, Florida, in 2010 and spent time in Texas and Iowa before the current owner acquired it in 2019 and relocated it to Pennsylvania. The car is finished in Viper Red over gray leather and is powered by an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Features include 17″ tri-spoke wheels, a removable canvas top with zip-up vinyl side curtains, four-wheel disc brakes, dual side-exit exhaust outlets, and a cassette stereo.
The composite body panels are finished in Viper Red, and equipment includes dual side-exit exhaust pipes and integrated front fog lights. A tonneau cover, a canvas removable soft top, and zip-up vinyl side curtains are included in the sale.
Silver 17″ tri-spoke wheels are wrapped in 275/40 front and 335/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car rides on a four-wheel independent suspension and features rack-and-pinion steering along with disc brakes with 13″ rotors all around.
The interior features gray leather seats with a matching dashboard and black trim and carpets. Equipment includes a factory cassette stereo with speakers mounted between the seat backs.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are centrally mounted in the dash. The six-digit odometer shows 3,200 miles.
The 8.0-liter V10 features an aluminum block and was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in December 2018. Power is sent to the wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
An owner’s manual, service manuals, additional literature, and two keys are included in the sale.
