This 1993 Dodge Viper RT/10 is finished in silver with black stripes over gray leather and is powered by a 520ci V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. It was modified in 1996 with the Hennessey Motorsports Venom 600 engine upgrade package, which added high-performance engine internals, enlarged throttle bodies, a high-flow intake manifold, competition air induction system, an upgraded engine computer, a competition clutch, an aluminum flywheel, long-tube headers, and a 3″ stainless dual-exit exhaust. Additional equipment includes the Hennessey Venom Aero Body upgrade that consists of front and rear bumper covers, a rear Daytona wing, and a custom hardtop as well as 18″ Kinesis wheels, a short-throw shifter, and Baer front brakes. The car remained registered in Florida until 2014 when it was purchased by the current owner and relocated to Tennesse.
The car was reportedly refinished at Hennessey Motorsports in silver with dual black over-the-top stripes and features the Hennessey Venom Aero body upgrade, which added front and rear bumper covers, a rear Daytona wing, a custom hardtop with side glass windows, and dual side-exit 3″ exhaust outlets.
Gray 18″ staggered Kinesis wheels wear Michelin Pilot SX tires measuring 285/35 up front and 335/30 out back. Stopping power is provided by Baer front calipers and drilled and slotted rotors.
The cabin features bolstered seating upholstered in gray leather with black carpets. Equipment includes a carbon-fiber shift knob, a Chrysler AM/FM/cassette stereo, and a short shift kit. A Venom 600 RT/10 Aero placard on the dash denotes the car as serial #001.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. A quartet of auxiliary gauges is mounted in the center of the dash. The six-digit odometer shows 1,900 miles.
The 520ci V10 has reportedly been modified with high-performance piston rings and bearings, forged aluminum pistons, updated wrist pins, steel connecting rods, a replacement crankshaft, enlarged throttle bodies, a high-flow intake manifold, a competition air induction system, an upgraded engine computer, long-tube headers, and a 3″ stainless exhaust system. The rated output reported by Hennessey Motorsports was 602 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of torque. An oil change and coolant flush were completed in preparation for sale.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a rear differential with a 3.07:1 gear ratio.
