This 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is finished in black over gray cloth and is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The SVT Cobra received a revised rear spoiler, unique badging, and bumper covers that differentiated it from the contemporary Mustang GT. This example is finished in black and is equipped with a sunroof, fog lamps, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes that there is a ding on the passenger side front fender and hood in addition to a crack on the passenger side front lower bumper cover.
Silver 17″ alloy wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Comp T/A tires. The suspension features Maximum Motorsports and Koni components, and 2003 Cobra disc brake components have been fitted at all four corners. Spare Mickey Thompson ET Street tires are included in the sale.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in gray cloth and are joined by a black dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include semi-power-adjustable front bucket seats, air conditioning, and power windows.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. Additional gauges have been installed on the A-pillar and dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 72k miles.
The 302ci OHV V8 features a Cobra upper intake manifold and camshaft, aluminum roller rockers, and a 65mm throttle body. The engine has reportedly been modified with a Ford Sportsman engine block and performance internals and is fitted with a procharger, aluminum cylinder heads, and a deep Moroso oil pan. The seller notes the spark plugs were replaced and the oil was changed in preparation for sale
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford Motorsports T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear differential. A McLeod Clutch kit and larger axles were reportedly installed as well as a replacement exhaust system and dual fuel pumps.
