This 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 is a right-hand-drive example that resided in South Africa before it was imported to the US by a previous owner and later acquired by the seller in 2020. Refurbishment work and modifications performed prior to the truck’s importation reportedly included a repaint in green, a rebuild of the engine, installation of 18″ alloy wheels and a Front Runner roof rack, and a refresh of the interior with custom upholstery on the seats, headliner, and dash as well as replacement carpets and a wood rear cargo floor. Power is provided by a 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The truck was repainted in green with a black roof under previous ownership. LED lights were installed by the seller and additional exterior features include a snorkel, a front skid plate, step bars, fender flares, mud flaps, a swing-away tire carrier, a Front Runner roof rack, and checker-plate fender and rocker cladding.
Black-finished 18″ alloy wheels wear Land Rover center caps and are mounted with 265/65 General Grabber APT tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The interior features seats that were reupholstered in brown leather with diamond-stitched inserts, a replacement headliner, and black carpets with red piping. Red diamond-stitched upholstery accents the center console and headliner. Additional features include power windows, a custom wood-lined rear cargo floor, and a dash-mounted bezel with 12-volt and USB power ports.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer with a six-digit mechanical odometer showing 100 miles. The odometer was reset after importation, reportedly as a result of a speedometer malfunction. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter 200Tdi turbodiesel inline-four was reportedly rebuilt prior to the truck’s importation to the US.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
