Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, a Mazda Sensory sound system, sport suspension, forged BBS wheels, and front and rear spoilers.
The body is finished in Brilliant Black (PZ) and is paired with a matching a black soft top that is protected by a red boot cover when lowered. Additional equipment includes body-colored side mirror caps, chrome door handles, and front and rear spoilers.
Forged 14″ BBS wheels wear 185/60 Dunlop SP Sport D89 tires, and the Limited Edition package also includes a sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein shocks, stiffer and shorter springs, and revised sway bars. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes with an anti-lock system.
Red leather covers the high-back bucket seats, and Miata-logo floor mats protect the matching carpets. The Mazda Sensory sound system includes a stereo with CD and cassette players, headrest speakers, and seatback-mounted bass transducers.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows just over 16k miles.
The 1.6-liter DOHC 16V inline-four was factory rated at 116 horsepower and 100 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change and Mazda Full Circle Inspection were performed by Mazda of Bedford in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
