This 1994 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 coupe is finished in red over matching leather and powered by a 5.7-liter LT5 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a removable roof panel, retractable headlights, Selective Ride Control, automatic climate control, and a Delco-Bose cassette and CD stereo. The car was first registered in Nevada and later moved to California, where it was acquired by its current owner in 2020. Service in February 2021 included an oil change and replacement of the tires.
The C4 ZR-1 features a wider tail and a convex rear fascia with squared-off taillights when compared to the standard C4 Corvette. This example is finished in Torch Red (70) and features retractable headlights, fog lamps, power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, a removable roof panel, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets.
Staggered-width 17″wheels wear 275/40 front and 335/35 rear Nitto NT555 G2 tires with 2020 date codes. The car was equipped from the factory with the high performance braking package, a low tire pressure warning system, and Selective Ride Control adjustable suspension that is controlled via a knob on the center console.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats trimmed in red leather with matching carpets and door panels. Appointments include automatic climate control, electric windows, driver and passenger airbags, and a factory Delco-Bose CD and cassette stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a digital speedometer and an analog tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates approximately 21k miles.
The all-aluminum LT5 5.7-liter DOHC V8 was co-designed by GM and Lotus and assembled by Mercury Marine of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Factory-rated output was 405 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine oil was changed in February 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF six-speed manual transmission.
An owner’s manual is included in the sale along with one remote key fob.
