This 1994 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution II GSR is one of 5,000 examples produced for World Rally Championship homologation, and it was imported to the US from Japan in 2019. It is finished in white over gray cloth upholstery and powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes front and rear spoilers, Recaro front seats, a MOMO steering wheel, and 15″ OZ Racing wheels. Service completed in 2021 is said to include transfer case and rear differential services, refinishing the bumpers, and replacement of the tires as well as the brake pads and rotors.
The exterior is finished in Scotia White (W83), and equipment includes a vented hood, front and rear spoilers, window visors, a rear wiper, and dual exhaust outlets.
OZ Racing 15″ wheels finished in white were mounted with 205/60 Yokohama AVID Touring-S tires in May 2021. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs, and the seller states the front brake pads and rotors were replaced in June 2021.
The right-hand-drive cabin features bolstered Recaro front seats upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts along with a matching gray dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, power windows, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and an Addzest CD and cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer located in the glove box. A Japanese electronic toll collection system is fitted.
The three-spoke MOMO steering wheel frames a 9k-rpm tachometer, a 180-km/h speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six digit mechanical odometer indicates 136k kilometers (~85k miles).
The turbocharged 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four was factory rated at 256 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil was most recently changed in May 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Transfer case and rear differential services were reportedly performed in May 2021.
