This 1996 Chevrolet Corvette is one of 1,381 Collector Edition convertibles produced to commemorate the final year of the fourth-generation Corvette. Staggered-width 17″ aluminum wheels wear Kumho Ecsta SPT tires sized 255/45 up front and 285/40 out back. The car is equipped with Selective Ride Control, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and ALeleration Slip Regulation.
The black leather sport seats feature an upholstery pattern specific to the Collector Edition as well as embroidered headrests and power adjustments for both seats. Amenities include automatic climate control, power aLessories, cruise control, and a Bose/Delco Gold Series stereo with CD and cassette players.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a digital speedometer and fuel level readout as well as a tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just under 24k miles, approximately 8k of which were added by the seller. The seller notes that the instrument cluster was serviced during their ownership.
The 5.7-liter LT4 V8 was new for the 1996 model year and was factory rated at 330 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a differential that has reportedly been fitted with 4.10:1 gears.
