This example is finished in extra-cost Mystic Clearcoat Metallic which shifts between bright topaz green, cobalt blue, royal purple, and black in different lighting. Equipment includes a Cobra R hood, smoked headlights, a Saleen S281 rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, SVT and Cobra badging, a wiper delete kit, and window tint. The Carfax report notes damage occurring in August 2000 with no additional details provided.
Chrome 17″ American Muscle alloy wheels are mounted with Sumitomo HTRZ tires up front and Nexen Radial N3000 tires out back. Stopping power is provided by red-painted calipers said to be sourced from a 2004 Mustang Cobra, and the suspension has reportedly been upgraded with H&R springs, Tokico shocks and struts, subframe connectors, and additional factory Mustang Cobra parts.
The interior is said to have been swapped for a 2004 Mustang Cobra interior, including Dark Charcoal leather seats with Graphite suede inserts and Cobra emblems embroidered into the seat backs. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, aluminum pedals, remote keyless entry, and a Mach 1000 stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a replacement instrument cluster that includes a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The A-pillar has an auxiliary pod with Speedhut boost and air-fuel ratio instrumentation. The digital odometer indicates 49k miles.
The factory 4.6-liter V8 was replaced under previous ownership with a Terminator 4.6-liter V8 said to have been sourced from a 2004 SVT Cobra. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and an Auburn Pro Series differential with Moser 31-spline axles.
