The 1.6-liter B16A2 inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and was rated at 160 horsepower and 111 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The gearbox fluid was changed recently along with the clutch fluid.
